Bio

I am a self taught artist who began painting on a very limited basis in the 80’s. I began painting on a more regular basis in the mid 90’s, after a trip to the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. I was inspired by the color of Van Gogh, Cezanne and Matisse as well as more contemporary artists. I have shown my work in various venues in Nashville, Hendersonville and Gallatin. I have also shown and sold work in Valle Crucis, North Carolina. I have been recognized in competitions and with commissioned work. I was commissioned to do a painting of South Street Restaurant in Nashville. (Prints available) . I am a member of the Monthaven Arts and Cultural Center in Hendersonville, Tennessee as well as a member of the Tennessee Art League in Nashville. I have had one man shows in each.I live in Gallatin, Tennessee with my wife, Lisa and our two cats.
